Gross combination weight rating (GCWR) is the maximum allowable weight of a power unit and its trailer combined, including cargo, as rated by the manufacturer.
Why it matters
A GCWR over 26,001 lbs with a trailer over 10,000 lbs generally requires a Class A CDL.
