Driver Qualification File
A driver qualification file (DQF) is the set of records a motor carrier must keep for each driver, including the application, MVR, road test certificate, medical examiner's certificate, previous employer inquiries and annual violation review.
Why it matters
Incomplete DQFs are the single most common DOT audit finding.
