Per-Mile Pay
Per-mile pay compensates a driver a fixed rate for each mile driven, commonly using practical or household-goods mileage. It is the most common company-driver pay model in over-the-road trucking.

Per-mile pay leaves drivers unpaid for detention and delays unless accessorial pay is added.
