USDOT Number
A USDOT number is the unique identifier FMCSA assigns to a commercial motor carrier, used to track safety records, inspections, crashes and audits. Most interstate carriers and many intrastate operations are required to have one.
Why it matters
Your USDOT number must be displayed on both sides of the power unit.
