What is TWIC Card?

A TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is the TSA-issued card required for unescorted access to secure areas of ports and maritime facilities. Drayage and port drivers generally need one.

Why it matters in day-to-day operations

TWIC cards are valid five years and take weeks to process — track expirations well in advance.
